Improved user navigation in the Mailing Editor
With Inxmail Professional 4.6 we take another important step towards improved usability and performance. This version features basic changes to the interface of the Mailing Editor that will make it easier for you to perform everyday tasks with Inxmail Professional.
For editing Advanced and Comfort Templates* the new version of our email marketing solution offers very practical support. The new click-to-edit function simplifies navigation in the Template Editor and makes editing easier.
To edit an article, image or other element in your newsletter, simply click the corresponding element in the preview area of the mailing. The selected element is then immediately displayed on the left side of the Mailing Editor. This makes it even easier to navigate your template, and it saves you time when creating the newsletter.
* The click-to-edit function works with all templates. In the case of individually customized enterprise or indivdual templates, however, the function may only be available to a limited extent.
Revised interface design
We have redesigned the Mailing Editor interface for mailings, trigger mailings and split test mailings as well as for dynamic websites. Larger fonts and structured areas give the interface an intuitive layout that is easy to navigate.
REST-API beta release for customers of Inxmail Professional ASP services
With Inxmail Professional 4.6, customers of our ASP services receive the beta version of our REST-API. In releasing the API, we are publishing the first building block of our new interface, which facilitates simpler and higher-performance connections to third-party systems. The REST-API is especially suited for connecting to SaaS or mobile solutions.
This version contains the following functions:
Create mailing lists
Lists can be created with fundamental attributes such as List name, List type, Sender address, Sender name and Description.
Modify, delete or retrieve mailing lists
Mailing lists can be modified or deleted. You also have the option to retrieve various attributes from the list.
Recipients can be imported from a list or at a global level. There is also an option to delete recipients from the list before a new import takes place.
All recipients can be retrieved at a global level.
Retrieve the status of a recipient
It is possible to retrieve the status of an import. The status can then be represented using an import progress bar, for example. It is also possible to check whether the import was successful. Any errors or problems that arise can be queried in the form of a report.
You can obtain further information in the REST-API documentation.
